Assembly
• Make sure that the three holes in the running board are
aligned with the three holes in the vehicle body and that
the flat side of the running board tab contacts the
underside of the vehicle body (see inset).
• Insert three #8 x 3 /
4
" screws through the holes in the
vehicle body and into the running board. Tighten the
screws using a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
• Bend the tab on a running board down (see inset).
• While holding the tab in place, fit the running board
under the side edge of the vehicle body.
Hint: You may need to pull gently on the side of the
vehicle body to fit the running board in place.
• Make sure the hole in the running board tab is aligned
with the hole in the floor of the vehicle body. Insert a
#8 x
3 /
4
" screw through the hole in the vehicle body floor
and into the running board tab. Tighten the screw using
a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
• Repeat assembly steps 1 - 3 to assemble the other
running board to the other side of the vehicle.
