Setup

This section provides the information necessary for selecting the type of
navigator connected to your plotter.

5.7.1 Navigation

The NAV SETUP menu
mainly selects the source
of nav data. For GPS
receiver other than the
GP-310B/320B, speed
averaging and local time
offset (to use local time)
are also available. Press
the [MENU] key followed by
the SYSTEM
CONFIGURATION, NAV
OPTION and NAV
SOURCE SETTINGS soft
keys to display this menu.

speed over a given period. If the period is too long
or too short, calculation error will result. Change
this setting if calculation error occurs. The default
setting is suitable for most conditions.

time, enter the time difference between it and
UTC. Use the +<-->- soft key to switch from plus to
minus and vice versa.
