This section describes the procedure for attempting to optimize resource by using the VMware resource allocation optimization category
scenario.
Understanding the current status
In the Capacity Planning window, select the VMware rsc. usage cond. (List of virtual machine) report of the VMware resource
allocation optimization category, set the analysis conditions and display the report.
Refer to " 6.2 Capacity Planning Operations " for information on how to configure analysis conditions.
Sort by CPU usage and memory usage to detect virtual machines with available resources and reduce the allocation of resources to virtual
machines with low usage rates.
