MEMORY MENU

The Memory Menu allows you to change the amount of
extended memory that the system shares as Video
Memory. Increasing the amount of shared memory is
helpful if you use your computer primarily for graphics-
intensive applications such as gaming or computer-
aided design, or if you frequently use the system with
simultaneous displays. (See Display Device Submenu on
page 6 for more information)

Shared Memory Submenu

To access the Shared Memory submenu, select Memory
from the top toolbar on the screen, then click Shared
Memory
. The following window appears.

The Shared Memory submenu presents three choices:

8M, 16M, and 32M; 16M is the default selection. To
increase or decrease the amount of memory to be
shared, use the up and down arrows. When you have
made your selection, tap [OK] to accept it or [Cancel] to
exit the window without making any changes.
