Firmware Upgrade
We provide you with the latest and best features through Firmware Upgrade.
Firmware Upgrade Instructions
1. Connect the AC adapter to the player. (Caution: Only upgrade the firmware
on the player with the AC adapter connected.)
2. Connect the device to a PC with the USB Cable. Please see Page xxx for how
to connect the product to a PC.
3. Download the latest Firmware file from the Freecom website.
4. Copy the firmware file to any folder of the player.
5. Disconnect the USB cable from the player.
6. Select the Firmware file (use the navigation buttons on the player to select
the file) and press Enter and PLAY simultaneously to start the firmware
upgrade.
7. The LCD will show “Firmware Upgrading...” Do not turn the player off until
the Firmware upgade process has finished. (Caution: All screens will be
“blank” until firmware upgrade has finished)
8. When the player powers off, the Upgrade is complete.
Power on the player and confirm the firmware version during startup.
