Chapter 9: Security
Three levels of security are available in NetWatch. Each level allows access to
different NetWatch functions.
Levels of Security
The levels of security are Administrator, Operator and Viewer. The Administrator has
access to all NetWatch functions, including security administration. The Operator can
view network visuals and has full access to all reports. The Viewer can view network
visuals and reports.
Enabling Security
From the Admin menu, select Utilities and then Security. NetWatch comes with
default passwords for each security level, which can be changed as required. Select
the ‘Protect level’ you require the press ‘Ok’.
