Reset all settings except F DATE/TIME, N TIME DIFFERENCE, A SCREEN SET-UP > BACK-
GROUND COLOR, and Q VIDEO SYSTEM to default values.
1 Highlight R RESET and press the selector right to display a confi rmation dialog.
2 Highlight OK and press MENU/OK.
o o SILENT MODE SILENT MODE ((default: default: OFF) OFF)
Select ON to disable the speaker, fl ash, and AF-assist illuminator in situations in which camera
sounds or lights may be unwelcome (note that the fl ash will still fi re in
C mode).

Choose ON to embed locatin data in photos (locatin data will not be em-
bedded in movies, panoramas, or 3D photos). Note that locatin data can
not be deleted; select OFF before shooting if you do not wish to record
locatin data with your pictures.
