Problem Action
Camera does not turn on • The batteries may be exhausted. Charge or replace
the batteries.
• The batteries are installed incorrectly. Re-insert the
batteries observing the correct polarity.
Camera turns off
automatically Press any button to turn on the camera.
LCD turns off automatically Press any button to turn on the LCD.
Empty battery icon is
displayed on the LCD after

LCD screen displays ‘Card
Requires Formatting’ Memory card format not recognized. Re-format the
memory card.

is locked’ The card is protected by a protect switch
mechanism. Move the switch to the unlock position.

Delete unnecessary images.

TV screen Incorrect TV-out type was selected. Set correct
TV-out type to match your TV system.
Insufficient space on the
card Delete unnecessary images.
