1. For ease of installation,
extend LATCH to its
maximum length.
2. Place the car seat firmly
against the back of a
forward-facing vehicle
seat.
3. Thread LATCH
through the belt
path normally used
for the vehicle seat
belt Ê .
Belt must lay flat
and not be twisted.
4. Hook LATCH
Connectors to vehicle
lower anchors. Pull
firmly on Connectors
to be sure they are
attached Ë .
5. Tighten LATCH by
pushing down hard on
car seat and pulling the
adjustment belt Ì .
6. NEVER put two LATCH
connectors on one
vehicle LATCH anchor
unless specifically
allowed by the
manufacturer Н .
