The GefenTV Repeater For HDMI 1.3
The new HDMI 1.3 specifi cation has posed new challenges in the area of video extension, but it has
always been Gefen’s goal to accept and implement these new technologies to bring you the products
that you want and need. Introducing the Repeater For HDMI 1.3. Now there is a viable solution for
extending HDMI 1.3 using long distance premium HDMI copper cables. Up to 50 feet of cable can be
inserted into the input and output connectors of the Repeater For HDMI 1.3. If that’s still not far enough,
multiple Repeater For HDMI 1.3 units can be chained together to reach even farther distances.
This new Repeater For HDMI 1.3 supports the advanced features of HDMI 1.3 such as Deep Color,
Dolby TruHD and DTS-HD Master Audio formats, and CEC passthrough.
How It Works
Insert one end of up to a 50 foot HDMI cable into the source. Connect the other end into the Repeater
For HDMI 1.3 unit’s input connector. Then, connect one end of up to 50ft of HDMI cabling to the
Repeater For HDMI 1.3 unit’s output connector. Connect the other end of the output cable into your
display. Connect the included power supply and turn everything on. The device automatically handles all
of the re-clocking and equalizing of the incoming video to output a crystal clear and perfect reproduction
of the source material.
