System .
gPS mode–Normal, GPS Off (for
indoor use), or Demo Mode (for
route simulation).
note: When GPS is
off, speed and distance
data are not available,
unless you are using
the Edge 705 with the
GSC 10. The next time
you turn on the Edge, it
will search for satellite
signals again.
text Language — change the
on-screen text language. Changing
the text language does not change the
language of the map or user-entered
data.
tones
— set audible tones to Key and
Message, Message Only, or Off.
Page Mode options
— turn on to
display the map in the cycle of pages
shown when mode is pressed.
about edge
— view your software
version, GPS version, and unit ID.
Map
Press menu > select Settings >
Map .
Detail — adjust the amount of detail
shown on the map. The map redraws
more slowly when detail is added.
orientation
— change the perspective
of the map.
north up — display the map with
North at the top of the page.
track up
— display the map with
your direction of travel at the top
of the page.
