1 Verify that volume setting in Control Panel is 1 or above.
2 Check speaker cable.
3 Replace speaker.
4 Replace logic board. Retain customer’s SIMMs.
Sound from external
video source does not
record or play
through speakers
1 Verify that audio cable connects sound source to sound input
port when using S-video.
2 Check speaker cable.
3 Replace speaker.
4 Replace logic board. Retain customer’s SIMMs.
