Safety shut-off

Safety shut-off for cooking times that
are too long

If a burner is heated for an unusually
long period of time (see chart) at the
same power level, the cooktop will turn
itself off automatically and the residual
heat indicator will appear.

To use the burner again, turn it back on
in the usual way.
