Highlights
Extremely Powerful Modem in the Tiniest Package. The
MultiMobile USB pocket-sized fax modem provides 56K
Internet access, e-mail, fax or file transfers. No external
power supply is required making it highly portable for
travellers. A powerful built-in processor frees up your
computer by handling modem operations and lighted LEDs
show complete modem status.
Radically Easy to Use. The MultiMobile USB portable modem
uses the Universal Serial Bus (USB) for the easiest modem
installation available. Plus, with USB, users never have to
restart or change system settings when hot-swapping this
modem with other USB devices.
Enhanced Fax Features. The MultiMobile USB portable modem
supports V.34 fax and Error Correction Mode providing
significant performance and reliability enhancements over
previous fax standards. V.34 sends and receives faxes at
33.6K, more than double the speed of the V.17/14.4K fax
standard. Error Correction Mode adds reliablility while
increasing performance of fax transmissions. Together these
enhancements increase the performance of the modem to
levels previously only found in more expensive dedicated fax
boards and machines.
Improve Performance. Using the 12M bps USB connection
allows for faster throughput than conventional PC Cards or
desktop modems.
Business Features. With remote configuration and US Caller ID
reporting, this modem is perfect for business travellers.
Saves Laptop Battery Life. The MultiMobile USB portable
modem gives you maximum life from your laptop's battery
- it draws power directly from the USB port and only uses the
battery when plugged in. Ordinary PC Card modems, even
when they are not in use, drain your battery's resources.
Global Modem. With the MultiMobile USB portable modem,
you need just one modem for worldwide use. This model has
approvals in many countries so you can ship one SKU (stock
unit) virtually anywhere in the world. The global modem is
ideally suited for OEM customers, multinational corporations
and systems integrators.
