one of the following:
•
Insert Pause
(to insert a
p
)
•
Insert Wait
(to insert a
w
)
•
Insert 'n'
(to insert an
n
)
insert a special character for calls that
require you to send additional digits
(for example, to make a calling card
call, or to retrieve messages from an
answering machine):
• Pause tells your phone to wait
until the call connects before it
automatically sends the next
digit(s) in a series.
• Wait tells your phone to wait
until the call connects, and then
to prompt you for confirmation
before it sends the next digit(s).
• 'n' tells your phone to prompt you
for a number before dialing the
call. The number you enter is
inserted into the dialing sequence
in place of the
n
character.
Note: You cannot store dialing
sequences that contain a
w
or
n
character on the SIM card (as a
phonebook entry or fixed dial entry).
