TROUBLE CAUSE CORRECTION
Engine difficult to start Stale fuel mixture Drain fuel tank. Fill with fresh
fuel mixture.

Too much oil in fuel mixture Check fuel mixture chart and
mix fresh fuel.
Engine runs erratically
Dirt in fuel tank or out of fuel Clean fuel tank.
Engine runs erratically

Fouled spark plug Clean and set spark plug
gap.
Engine will not run at full

Dirty air filter Clean and oil air filter.
