Troubleshooting

M-Audio’s website, which is found at www.m-audio.com, contains the most
up-to-date troubleshooting information. This should be your first stop for
all the latest drivers, FAQ files and extensive how-to guides, as well as
additional information on contacting M-Audio technical support.

If you are having problems with your Sonica Theater, you may wish to try
the following quick troubleshooting tricks:

When things don’t seems to be working properly, try restarting the
computer.This solves the majority of computer problems.

If you haven’t been able to get your Sonica Theater to work at all, or if
worked for awhile and then stopped working altogether, reinstall the
driver software.

• If the unit stopped working after you installed a new program or

system software update, check the M-Audio website for more recently
updated drivers. If a major system software update that has been
recently released, you may need to search for beta version software
drivers which provide increased support for the new software.

A few features do not function when a 96kHz sampling rate is selected.
If a feature isn’t working properly, try opening the control panel,
selecting Input/Other, and setting the sampling rate to 48kHz.
