Chapter 10: System Status
The System Status menu give you further options to check the performance of your Magellan RoadMate.
10.1 Product Information
Select Product Information to show the current application software versions. Also, the
current hardware and firmware versions will be displayed.
10.2 User Storage
Select User Storage to display the available space and total space of the hard disk and, if
inserted, the storage card. Note: Although 10 GB of storage on the unit hard disk is
available, the actual storage may vary and can be slightly less.
10.3 Diagnostics
Diagnostics enables you to test key performance elements of the Magellan RoadMate
10.3.1 Audio Test
The Audio Test will check the performance of the built-in speaker.
10.3.2 Touchscreen Test
The Touchscreen test will enable you to recalibrate the touchscreen should it not be
tracking properly.
10.3.3 Keypad Test
The Keypad test will determine if the buttons on the unit are functioning.\
10.3.4 Video Test
The Video test will test to determine if the screen is displaying colors properly.
