Repairs should only be carried out by an authorized technician in

accordance with local and national safety regulations. Unauthorized repairs
could cause injury or appliance damage. The manufacturer cannot be held
responsible for unauthorized work.

What if the appliance does not heat up after it is turned on?

Possible fault

Solution

The Child safety lock is activated.

See "Child safety lock".

The Overheating protection feature has
activated.

See "Overheating protection".

The main fuse has blown.

Check the main fuse.
Remove the fuse or "trip" the circuit
breaker.

If none of the above is the case, turn the control to "0", and disconnect the
appliance from the electrical supply for 1 minute.
Reconnect the power and turn the appliance on. If it still does not heat, contact
Miele Technical Service.

What if

ß appears in the display?

Possible fault

Solution

The burner is turned but the wok is not
placed on it.

Turn the burner off and place the wok
on the burner.

What if

F and 01 flash alternately in the display?

Possible fault

Solution

The control knob is either damaged or
stuck.

If this is not the case contact Miele
Technical Service.

What if

F and a number flash alternately in the display?

Contact Miele Technical Service.
