Changing the sound channel (for discs with Dolby
Digital mode only)
1 Press SETUP.
2 Press
4 to select ‘AUDIO
SETUP ,’ then press OK.
3 Press
4 to select ‘DUAL
MONO ’, then press 2.
4 Use
34 keys to select
your preference and press
OK to confirm.
5 To close the menu, press
SETUP again.
STEREO (default setting)
– It reproduces both channels as stereo.
L MONO
– It reproduces left mono signal to front left and right
channels.
R MONO
– It reproduces right mono signal to front left and right
channels.
MIX
– It reproduces both channels mix together.
The same function can also be accessed from the
AUDIO button on the remote control.
Balancing the volume level through
setting the dynamic range
(for discs with Dolby
Digital mode only)
1 Press SETUP.
2 Press
4 to select ‘AUDIO
SETUP ,’ then press OK.
3 Press
4 to select
‘DYNAMIC,’ then press 2.
4 Use
34 keys to select
your preference and press
OK to confirm.
5 To close the menu, press
SETUP again.
FULL (full compressed dynamic range)
– High volume outputs are softened and low volume
outputs are brought upwards to audible level.
7/8 ~ 1/8 (partially compressed dynamic range)
OFF (uncompressed dynamic range)
Activating the camera angle indication
1 Press SETUP.
2 Select ‘GENERAL SETUP,’
then press OK.
3 Press
4 to select ‘ANGLE
MARK ,’ then press
2.
4 Use
34 keys to select
your preference and press
OK to confirm.
➜ If set to ‘ON,’ will
be displayed on the
screen when a picture is recorded in multiple angle.
5 To close the menu, press SETUP again.
Activating screen saver
1 Press SETUP.
2 Select ‘GENERAL SETUP,’
then press OK.
3 Press
4 repeatedly to
select ‘SCREEN SAVER,’
then press
2.
4 Use
34 keys to select
your preference and press
OK to confirm.
5 To close the menu, press
SETUP again.
➜ If set to ‘ON’, when you leave the system in stop or
pause mode for more than one minute, the screen saver
will appear on the TV screen.
Restoring the original settings
1 Press SETUP.
2 Press
4 to select
‘PREFERENCES,’ then
press OK.
3 Press
4 to select
‘DEFAULTS,’ then press
2.
➜ All the items in the
setup menu will be
restored to the original
factory setting.
4 To close the menu, press SETUP again.
Helpful Hint:
– The parental control and its unlocking password will not be
reset.
