STARTING FROM A DESIRED

TIME COUNT

Press the SEARCH MODE button twice
during playback.

Press the numeric buttons to set the desired
time count.

Example: 1 hour, 23 minutes and
30 seconds

In the case of DVD Video, Time Search in Title is
effective, but Time Search in Chapter is ineffective.

¡

In the case of DVD Audio, CD and Video CD, Time
Search in Track is effective, but Time Search in the
entire disc is ineffective.

¡

Playback from a desired time count is not available
with some discs or if the unit is in stop mode.

¡

If wrong numbers are entered, press the CLEAR
button and re-enter the correct numbers.

MARKER SETUP SCREEN

Use markers to memorize your favorite places on a disc.

Press SEARCH MODE four times (CD: three
times) during playback.

¡

The display screen and Markers will appear on the
TV screen.

Press s or B to select 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
or 10 and ensure that “_ : _ _ : _ _” appears
in the display.

When reachs the desired point, press ENTER.

¡

The Title or Track and elapsed playing time will
appear in the TV screen.

Notes

Opening the disc tray, turning off the power, or
selecting AC at step 2 and pressing ENTER will
erase all Markers.

¡

To clear a marker, using s or B, position the cursor on to
the marker number to be cleared and press CLEAR.

¡

You can mark up to 10 points.

¡

In the case of DVD Audios, marker searching may
start playback from the head of the marked TR, in
some discs or groups.

Press SEARCH MODE or RETURN to exit.

wish to playback randomly, then press the
ENTER button.

Selecting “ALL” starts random
playback of all groups.

Press playback button, Random playback
will then start.

Notes

During random playback, TITLE, MENU, Arrow and
ENTER buttons on the remote controller are disabled.

¡

When the designated random playback ends, it changes to
stop mode.

TRICKS WITH THE SKIP BUTTONS

H, G)

If the SKIP button G is pressed during playback or
while playback is paused, the current chapter will be
skipped and the next chapter will be played. When
the SKIP button H is pressed once, the top of the
current chapter will be located for replaying. When
the SKIP button H is pressed again within
2-seconds after playback begins, the previous
chapter will be located.

To return to the Marker later, press SEARCH
MODE four times (CD: three times) during
playback, and
s or B to choose the desired
marker, then press ENTER.
