Set the MASTER VOLUME
control to a low setting.

The CD player will read the table
of contents on the disc and the
total number of tracks will appear
in the display.

Lift the CD Door OPEN tab to
open the CD compartment door.
Place a CD on the center spindle,
with the printed label side facing
up. Close the CD compartment
door.

Press the POWER button to the
ON position to turn the unit on;
the POWER indicator will light.

Press the Play/Pause (Š )
button to begin playback on
Track 1; the PLAY/PAUSE
indicator will light.

Adjust the BALANCE ❶ and
MASTER VOLUME ❷ controls as
desired. Playback will continue until
all the tracks on the disc have been
played.

To stop playback before the disc
ends, press the Stop (■) button.
The disc will stop and the display
will show the total number of
tracks on the disc.

After the last track has been
played, the disc stops auto-
matically and the display shows
the total number of tracks on the
disc. If you are finished listening,
lift the CD Door OPEN tab to
open the CD Compartment door.

Remove your disc, close the CD
Compartment door and press the
POWER button to the OFF
position to turn the unit off; the
POWER indicator will turn off.
