place phone in discoverable mode
Allow an unknown Bluetooth device to discover your
phone:
Find it: s > w Settings > Bluetooth Link > Bluetooth
> Find Me
The Bluetooth indicator & flashes when your phone is
in discoverable mode.
pair with other device
Before you try to connect your phone with another
device, make sure the device is on and ready in
pairing or bonding mode (see the user guide for the
device). You can connect your phone with only one
device at a time.
Find it: s > w Settings > Bluetooth Link > Handsfree
> [Look for device]
Your phone lists the devices it finds within range.
1 Scroll to a device and connect to it by pressing
the center key s or SELECT.
2 If necessary, enter a mutually agreed upon
passkey (such as 0000) on your phone and the
device, then press OK to connect to the device.
When your phone is connected, the Bluetooth
indicator & shows in the home screen.

tty operation
You can use an optional TTY device with your phone to
send and receive calls. You must plug the TTY device
into the phone’s headset jack (see page 2) and set the
phone to operate in one of three TTY modes.
