CAUTION

1 Read all instructions before using the fan heater.

2 Only connect the fan heater to a single-phase socket

with main voltage as specified on the rating plate.

3 This appliance meets the electromagnetic

compatibility requirements specified in EN 55104/95

with regard to interference with radio and TV sets.

4 Do not leave your home while the appliance is in

use. Ensure that the switch is in the OFF (0) position

and that the thermostat is in the minimum position.

Always unplug the appliance.

5 Keep combustible material such as furniture,

cushions, bedding, paper, clothes, curtains etc. at

least 100cm away from the fan heater.

6 If wall mounted do not fix to combustible material

such as wooden, synthetic or plastic surfaces. Do

not hang anything on or in front of the fan heater.

7 Always unplug the heater when not in use. Do not

pull the cord to unplug the heater.

8 Keep the air inlet and outlet free from objects; at least

1m in front and 50cm behind the heater.

9 Do not install the heater below an electical socket.

10 Do not let children or animal touch or play with the

fan heater. Pay attantion! The air outlet gets hot

during operation (more than 80°C).

11 Do not cover, if covered there is a risk of overheating.

12 Do not use the fan heater in the immediate

surroundings of a bath, shower or swimming pool.

13 Do not use the fan heater in rooms with explosive

gas or while using flammable solvents, varnish or

glue.

14 In case the power cord is damaged send it to the

nearest after sale service recommended by the

supplier for the replacement.

INSTALLATION

• This appliance requires no installation and should be

used soley as a portable device.

OPERATION

- Turn the thermostat knob (right) in a clockwise

direction until it reaches the maximum setting.

Summer service (ventilation only): turn the knob to

fan setting

Heating at reduced power; turn the thermostat
knob (right) to setting

Heating at full power; turn the thermostat knob
(right) to setting

Switching off; turn the switch knob (left) to setting 0.

Regulating the thermostat:

• When the room has reached the desired

temperature, turn the right thermostat knob in an

anti-clockwise direction up to where the appliances

switches off and not beyond.

• The temperature is “fixed” in this way and will be

automatically regulated and kept at a contant level

by the thermostat.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning always remove the plug from the

electrical socket.

• Clean the air intake and outlet grilles frequently.

• Never use abrasive solvents or powders.

WARNINGS

• Do not use the heater to dry laundry.

• Never obstruct the intake and outlet grilles (danger of

overheating).

• The appliance must be positioned so that the

switches and other controls can not be reached by

children or persons using the bath tub or shower.

• In case the power cord is damaged send it to the

nearest after sale service recommended by the

supplier for the replacement.

• Do not use in rooms with less than 4m² floor area.

SAFETY DEVICE

• The heater is fitted with a safety device which

will switch the appliance off in case of accidental

overheating. (eg: obstruction of air inlet and outlet

grilles, motor turning slowly or not at all.)

• To reset, disconnect the plug from the mains power

for a few minutes, remove the cause of overheating

then plug the appliance in again.
