USE

Fitting and changing the mixing and whisking tools
1. Lift the upper section (1) by pressing the release

button (4) in and flipping the section up. You may lift
by the handle (2).

2. Place the required mixing or whisking tools (10-12) in

the holes (6). Always use the same type of tool in
both holes. The tool equipped with two red plastic
couplings should be fitted to the hole on the left
marked with a red dot.

3. Check that the tools are fitted correctly. You will hear

a click when they are pushed right in. You may need
to turn the tools slightly before they fit correctly.

4. Press the release button in, lower the upper section

completely and check that it is locked firmly in the
lowest position.

5. When the mixing or whisking tools are to be

removed, you must lift the upper section and press
the release button (3) on the handle. Then remove
the tools from the holes.

Fitting and changing the mixing bowl
1. When the small mixing bowl is to be used, the

mixing bowl selector (9) must be in the position to
the left (seen from the front). When the large mixing
bowl is to be used, the mixing bowl selector must be
in the position to the right.

2. Place the mixing bowl selector in the correct position

before the mixing bowl is fitted by pressing the
handle down slightly, turning it fully to the left or right
and releasing it so that it locks tight. The handle
must be locked tight when the mixer is in use.

3. Lift the upper section as described in the section

‘Fitting and changing the mixing and whisking tools’
if this is necessary to be able to fit the bowl (if, for
example, tools are fitted to the upper section).

4. Fit the bowl (8) by placing it on the base and turning

it clockwise until it is firmly in place.

5. Release the bowl by turning it anti-clockwise until it

is loose on the base and then lift it off.

Operating the mixer
1. The speed selector (5) is used to start and stop the

mixer and to select the speed. When the speed
selector is turned away from position 0 Off, the mixer
starts. The mixing or whisking tools begin to move,
and the mixing bowl rotates. Remember that the
mixing or whisking tools must be in the mixture in
the bowl before the mixer starts.

2. The speed can be set to 12 different settings, where

1 is the slowest, and 12 the fastest. The speed can
be changed while the mixer is running.

3. The mixer can be switched off by turning the speed

selector back to position 0 Off. The mixing and
whisking tools and mixing bowl stop.

Tips
The following suggestions for mixing speeds are for
guidance only. Always use common sense, and check
the mixture in the bowl regularly while the mixer is
running.

Speed

Use

1-3

Start for all whisking operations and for
mixing dough or minced meat as well as
mixtures of wet and dry ingredients

4-6

Mixing various sauces, mashed potato,
etc.

7-9

Mixing cake mixes

10-12

Whisking cream, egg whites, whole
eggs, etc.
Also suitable for mixing butter and
sugar, etc.

When whisking large quantities of ingredients, it may
be necessary to select a higher speed than normal.

Lower the speed before adding flour, icing sugar or
similar to a mixture as the ingredients may otherwise
swirl around the area around the mixer due to the
high speed.

Never use too high a speed when mixing a very
heavy mixture, e.g. white bread dough. If it is difficult
for the tools to turn in the mixture, reduce the speed,
and add a small amount of liquid, if required. If the
mixer cannot go round in the mixture, you should do
it manually, otherwise the motors in the mixer may
become overloaded.

The mixer is supplied with two sets of whisks, one
light and one powerful, as well as a dough hook. The
light whisks (10) are used to whisk cream, egg
whites and similar, and the heavy whisks (11) are
used for mixing butter and sugar, whisking cake
mixes, etc. The dough hooks (12) are used for heavy
mixtures, e.g. white bread dough and minced meat.

The mixing and whisking tools can be kept in the
mixing bowl on the mixer when they are not in use. If
you keep them in a kitchen drawer, make sure it is
high enough, otherwise the tools, the drawer or other
items in the drawer may be damaged.

CLEANING

Wipe the mixer with a damp cloth.

The mixing bowls and the mixing and whisking tools
can be washed in warm, soapy water and can also
be washed in a dishwasher.

Do not use any kind of strong or abrasive cleaning
agent on the mixer or accessories. Never use a steel
brush or scrubbing brush to clean the mixer, as the
surface may be damaged.
