MAP DETAIL

Low, Medium, High

Sets the amount of detailed information
that is displayed on the map to avoid
clutter.

WAYPOINT
NAMES

On, Off

Sets whether or not waypoint names will
be displayed on the Map screen.

GEOCACHE
ICONS

Not Found, All, Off

Sets what types of geocache icons will be
displayed on the Map screen.

PLACE NAMES

On, Off

Sets whether or not place POIs names will
be displayed on the Map screen.

TRAIL LINES

On, Off

Sets whether or not trails will be displayed
on the Map screen.

ORIENTATION

North, Course

Sets top of the Map screen display to
indicate North or your heading (course).

POSITION
DESTINATION
LINE

On, Off

Sets whether or not the position
destination line (pink) will be displayed
on the Map screen.

PLACES
SHOWN

On, Off

Sets whether or not place POIs will be
displayed on the Map screen.

ELECTRONIC
COMPASS

On, Off

Turns the electronic compass on or off.

BAROMETER

On, Off

Turns the barometer on or off.

GPS FIX

On, Off

When set to on will alert you when the
Magellan Triton loses GPS signals and
cannot compute a GPS fix.

ALARM TONE

Beep, Ring

Sets the type of audible tone to be used.

ALARM
VOLUME

Off, Low, Medium,
High

Sets the volume level for the audible
alarm.

BEEPER
VOLUME

Off, Low, Medium,
High

Sets the volume level for the beeper.

BEEPER MODE

Keys, Alarms, Keys &
Alarms

Sets beeper usage.

ANCHOR
ALARM

Various

Sets distance that the Magellan Triton can
drift from its present position before the
anchor alarm will sound.

OFF COURSE

Various

Sets distance that the Magellan Triton can
be off course before the off course alarm
will sound.
