To set your text entry modes, press M in a
text entry screen and select the desired entry
mode.
Tip: Pressing 0 will toggle between
uppercase and lowercase in English alphabet
text entry.
iTAP® mode
Press # in a text entry screen to switch to
iTAP mode. iTAP mode lets you enter words
using one keypress per letter. The iTAP
software combines your keypresses into
common words and predicts each word as
you enter it.
For example, if you press 7764, your
phone displays a list of suggestions for words
such as prog, proh, and proi.
tap mode
Press # in a text entry screen and select tap
mode.
To enter text in tap mode, press a keypad key
repeatedly to cycle through the letters and
number on the key. Repeat this step to enter
each letter.
For example, if you press 8 once, the phone
displays:
Numeric
Enter numbers only.
Symbol
Enter symbols only.
