Understanding the CD layout of an MP3 or WMA CD

The following chart shows folder structure for an MP3 CD with four
albums.

The arrow pathway shows the playback sequence of MP3
folders and files.

This example has a total of four MP3 directories. Based on this
layout, the first file (track) that plays is Blur01.mp3, and the
last file (track) that plays is Twain15.mp3.

Skipped indicates a folder that does not contain audio files.
Your CD player cannot read these folders.

If a folder contains both MP3 and non-MP3 files, your CD
player skips the non-MP3 files.
