FLYING YOUR PLANE
TURNING
To pitch the nose up and increase control sensitivity, quickly reduce the throttle.
Use the steering lever to turn and use the throttle to control the turn radius.
Push the throttle forward to widen the turn.
Pull back the throttle to tightened the turn.
After the inside wing begins to bank slightly, move the steering control back to center.
The plane will maintain the turn. To straighten out, push the steering control in the
opposite direction.
LANDING THE PLANE
TIP! – Tapping or pulsing the controls will make the plane easier for a novice pilot to
control the Airplane.
Control Reversal, is when the airplane is flying towards you the controls react as if
they are reversed. For example to make the plane move left requires the pilot to steer right
– just imagine that you are in the pilot’s seat!
TROUBLESHOOTING
Red LED on Controller
is not lit.

REPAIRS
Easy repairs to get you back in the air!
Your plane’s body is made of foam for impact strength and durability. Even so,
some parts may break during a crash. Foam parts may easily be repaired using
household scotch tape and glue (not included) To make your own repairs, apply glue
to the broken area, then put the 2 pieces together.
Reinforce the repair with clear scotch tape to top and bottom.
Charger Green LED does
not turn on.
1)Charge not started.
2)Charger batteries are too low.
3)Charge Cycle is finished.
1)Ensure charge cable is properly connected.
2)Replace the charger’s C batteries.
3)Battery charge is complete.
Airplane does not fly or
appears nose heavy.

about 1 material thickness to create a

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much space do I need to fly? The best area to fly in is at least the size of a soccer pitch or a park with a couple of
baseball diamonds. Do not try to fly in your backyard or in front of your house because
there are too many obstacles that could damage your airplane.
How long will my plane fly? It’s up to you! Unlike other available RC Airplanes you can release the Thrust/power
button which controls the throttle – this stops the motor but the plane will keep flying.
If you fly with the motor on all the time expect a 2 to 3 minute flight, if you can fly
without the motor on its possible to soar the plane and keep in the air MUCH, MUCH,
MUCH longer!
How long does it take to charge? Typical charge time for the Razor is approximately 30 minutes, however this
will very based on the airplane’s battery condition and the charger’s battery condition.
Can I fly indoors? No – the AirRage Razor is an outdoor airplane only.
The plane seems to fly nose heavy. Typically this is due to the plane needing to be recharged. It is also possible to bend the
trailing edge of the horizontal stabilizer up about one material thickness to create a
nose up moment on the airplane.
Why does my airplane not turn
in wind?
Airplanes will “weather vane” in wind – this is where the length of the airplane will stay
parallel with the wind direction, to turn the airplane hold the turn command but be
prepared for the plane to turn rapidly if its flying into wind, or turn slowly if flying with the wind.
My Airplane crashes each time
I launch it?
Although launching the plane is reasonably easy some practice never hurts.
Don’t throw the plane straight up into the sky, don’t throw the plane at the ground, keep
the wings level and plane horizontal and launch with a firm toss like you would throw a dart.
Check wind direction. Launch the plane against the wind.
TIP! -If the wind is blowing against your face you are facing the correct direction.
How To Launch:
1. Switch on your plane and the transmitter. The transmitter POWER LED lights.
Fully extend the antenna.
2. Move throttle (left lever) fully forward and back to activate the transmitter.
3. Make sure TRIM control is centered with arrow pointing up.
4. Push the throttle forward halfway before launching for first flights.
5. Hold the underside of the plane with two fingers and gently launch the plane
as straight and level as possible against the wind.
6. Add throttle gently.
7. Your plane should fly straight with the steering lever centered. If it does not,
adjust TRIM to the left/right to compensate.
8. Repeat steps 6-7 several times to make sure your plane travels in a straight line.
TIP! - A firm toss works best, do not “pitch” the plane with all of your
strength because this will cause it to crash.
NOTE: If the nose is pointed to high the plane will climb steeply then
nose down suddenly and crash, if the nose is pointed down the plane
will fly into the ground.
NOTE: If the wings are not level the plane will turn into the bank and
most likely crash when at low altitudes.
To land your plane, direct it against the wind and release the throttle slowly for a steady descent.
NOTE: Your plane is designed to stabilize automatically when power is reduced. If necessary, quickly pull the throttle all the
way back to stop the motors and prevent crashing your plane !
FLYING SAFETY
• ADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED!
•ALWAYS FLY YOUR RAZOR IN A LARGE, OPEN GRASSY AREA FREE OF TREES, AND OTHER OBSTRUCTIONS.
• Keep away from small children. Have all spectators stan behind you, and away from the plane at all times.
•Use outdoors where wind conditions do not exceed 5 mph. If the wind is greater than 5 mph. wait for another day.
•Keep eyes, hands, hair and loose clothing away from the moving propellers. Do not piont the antenna directly at the plane.
•Be aware of changes in your surroundings. Do not use in rain, snow around heavy debirs, near electrical lines, air conditiong,
air vents, water, crowded areas or large obstacles.
PROPELLER SAFETY
•Before each flight, make sure the propellers are securely and correctly
attached to your plane. Afer each flight, inspect the
propellers for nicks and breaks.
•Use only the supplied propellers. Do not alter, modify or customize the propellers.
•Discard and replace nicked, chipped, cracked or broken propellers by pressing the
new propeller onto the motor shaft. leaving a small gap between the propeller
and the fuselage.
