Power sources

We recommend that you use a surge protector. During electrical
storms, unplug the AC power adapter. When you do not intend to use
your shelf system for an long period of time, unplug the AC power
adapter and remove the batteries. Lightning and power surges are
not covered under the warranty.

Electromagnetic interference

If normal operation of your shelf system is disrupted by
electromagnetic interference or electrostatic discharge (static
electricity), disconnect the power, then reconnect it.

Disconnecting power

The main AC power adapter is the disconnecting device. The plug
must remain readily operable. To completely disconnect power,
unplug the AC power adapter from the power outlet. The AC power
adapter label is located on the bottom of the adapter.
