NS-P3114 Portable CD Player

Sound is skipping. CD or lens is dirty. Clean the CD or lens.
Player subjected to
strong vibrations. Place the player on a
level, stable surface.
Buttons do not work. Hold function is turned
on. Slide the HOLD switch
to the left to unlock the
buttons.
Irregular characters
displayed on the LCD. The batteries are
weak. Replace the batteries.
The player has been
subjected to
electro-static
discharge (static
electricity). Open and close the
CD door, then restart
the player.
Cannot play DIY MP3
files. The player is not
compatible with DIY
MP3 files. Different compression
tools use different
compression formats
and compression
rates. The player
supports the standard
MP3 format.
When you create MP3
files, do not use the
MPEG 1 Layer 1 or
MPEG 1 layer 2
standard. Use the
MPEG 1 Layer 3
format instead.
The time on the LCD
is incorrect when
playing MP3 files. The MP3 file was
created using the VBR
(variable compression
speed rate). Create MP3 files with
a stable speed rate.
