Playing MP3 files

You can play CDs containing MP3 files. MP3 is a compression format
that creates a small file size while retaining the quality of an audio CD
file.

To play MP3 files:
1
Insert a CD with MP3 files.

2 Press the PROGRAM button one or more times to select

FILE LIST or FOLDER.

DVD

TV Type–Lets you select the type on signal
your TV can receive. You can select:

• NTSC
• PAL
• AUTO

Audio–Lets you select the audio language
for disc playback. You can select English,
French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese,
Korean, Russian, Thai, or Other.
If the language you select is not encoded on
the disc, the default disc language is used.
Subtitle–Lets you select the subtitle
language. You can select English, French,
Spanish, German, Chinese, Japanese,
Russian, or Other
If the language you select is not encoded on
the disc, the default disc language is used.
Disc Menu–Lets you select the language
for a DVD’s built-in menus. You can select
English, French, Spanish, German,
Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or Other.
If the language you select is not encoded on
the disc, the default disc language is used.
Parental–Lets you set parental controls to
block access to various movie ratings. This
feature does not work is Password mode in
ON.
Password–Lets you change the parental
password. The default password is 8888.
Default–Lets you reset your DVD player’s
settings the to the factory defaults.
