• Turn ON the JX-S555.

Press SOURCE SELECT "4" to select
DVD player as the source component.
• The indicator lights in red.
• If the SOURCE SELECT "4" indicator on
the JX-S555 is already lit, it is not required
to press the SOURCE SELECT "4" button.

Turn ON the TV and select the
component video input.

Turn ON the AV receiver and se-
lect the OPTICAL input, then set
the Digital Surround mode to ON.

Play the DVD.
• The DVD player video is displayed on the TV
screen.

• Some DVD software contains recording of copy inhibit signals. When such software is dubbed between VCRs, the copy guard
system functions to make the dubbed results abnormal.
• The copyright laws prohibit the use of materials recorded on videotapes by the user without the permission of the copyright
owners unless the user use the tapes for personal use.
