Mouse Does Not Respond (Continued)

¾ Make sure you have installed all Windows

®

updates and

patches for your OS. Visit www.microsoft.com

¾ Optical mice do not work well on glass or highly reflective

surfaces. Try using your mouse on a different surface such as
a plain white piece of paper.

¾ Turn off your computer. Unplug the receiver from your

computer. Wait 20 seconds. Plug the receiver into your
computer. Turn your computer on. You may need to re-link
the mouse using Troubleshooting step 1.

3. Mouse does not work after replacing batteries

¾ Make sure you have correctly inserted the new batteries,

matching the battery polarity markings with the positive (+)
and negative (-) symbols in the battery compartment.

¾ Re-link your mouse Troubleshooting step 1.
