1. Make sure your phone is turned on (see “Turning Your Device’s Phone On and Off” on
page 17).
2. Press Phone .
3. Press Menu .
4. Select Options and then select Phone Preferences.
5. Check the Hearing Aid Compatibility box.
6. Select OK.
Caution: Do not turn on the HAC setting unless you use a hearing aid with a
telecoil. Using this setting without a hearing aid or with a hearing aid
without a telecoil may be harmful to your hearing.
