Applications: Preferences
Note: You can also use non-ASCII and literal characters in your login script.
See Appendix C, Non-ASCII Characters for Login Scripts for
additional information.
To create a login script:
1. Tap the Script button in the Details dialog to open the Login Script dialog.
2. Tap the End pick list to open the Command list.
3. Tap the command you want from the Command list. If the command requires
additional information, a field appears to the right of it for you to enter the
information. The following commands are available:
Wait For
Tells your SPT 1500 terminal to wait for
specific characters from the TCP/IP server
before executing the next command.
Send
Transmits specific characters to the TCP/IP
server to which you are connecting.
Send CR
Transmits a carriage return or LF character
to the TCP/IP server to which you are
connecting.
Send User ID
Transmits the User ID information entered in
the User ID field of the Network Preferences
screen.
