6.4. Hop per hea ters (op tio nal)

If dif fe ring dry ing tem pe ra tu res are re qui red in the dif fe rent dry ing hop pers, hop per hea ters must
be in stal led on the dry ing hop pers. The dry ing tem pe ra tu re of each dry ing hop per can be set cen -
tral ly at the dry er.

6.5. Au to ma tic mo tor flaps (op tio nal)

Au to ma tic mo tor flaps cut off the dry ing hop per from the dry ing cir cuit as soon as the ma te ri al is
com ple te ly dried. The supp le men ta ry hea ting sys tem is also swit ched off. De hu mi di fied air flows
into the dry ing hop per only af ter new, moist ma te ri al is ad ded to the hop per. This en su res that the
ma te ri al is not da ma ged, and sa ves a con si de ra ble amount of ener gy.

Tem pe ra tu re pro bes at the feed ope ning of the dry ing hop per and in si de the dry ing hop per en ab le
com pa ri son of feed ope ning and ma te ri al tem pe ra tu re, from which the dry ing de gree of the ma te -
ri al can be cal cu la ted.

If the dry ing hop per is to be clea ned or blo cked, the mo tor flap can be clo sed via the dry er. The
supp le men ta ry hea ting sys tem is then au to ma ti cal ly swit ched off.

6.6. Con nec ti on to a pneu ma tic con vey ing sys tem (op tio nal)

The dry er ope ra tes most ef fec ti ve ly in con juncti on with a pneu ma tic con vey ing sys tem. This com -
bi na ti on of dry er and con vey ing sys tem en su res that suf fi cient ma te ri al is al ways fed into the dry -
ing hop per.

Only the amount of ma te ri al re qui red for the pro ces sing ma chi nes used is re mo ved from the hop -
per. This gua ran tees that the fi nal dry ing re sult re mains cons tant.

Ster ling dry ing hop pers are avai la ble equip ped with the cor re spon ding flan ge for con nec ti on of a
Ster ling pneu ma tic con vey or di rect ly ex works.

Suc ti on bo xes can also be de li ver ed with the re qui red num ber of suc ti on tu bes. The se suc ti on bo -
xes were de ve lo ped spe ci al ly for this hop per to pre vent dust and fo reign par ti cles from being aspi -
ra ted into the sys tem.

A de vi ce for con nec ti on to the de hu mi di fied air supp ly line is also avai la ble. Plea se note that the
functi on of this com bi na ti on is dif fe rent from that of the con ven tio nal Ster ling suc ti on bo xes.
