iii. DIGITAL CAPTION STYLE – This subfunction allows users to
adjust digital closed caption viewing options.
a. CAPTION STYLE – This suboption enables you to adjust
all the other suboptions. Use AS BROADCASTER to
disable all the styles. Use CUSTOM to customize all the
styles.
b. FONT SIZE – This suboption changes the size of your
digital closed caption.
c. FONT STYLE – This suboption changes the font type of
your digital closed caption.
d. FONT COLOR – This suboption changes the color of
your digital closed caption.
e. FONT OPACITY – This suboption changes the
transparency of your digital closed caption.
f. BACKGROUND COLOR – This suboption changes the
color of the background of your digital closed caption.
g. BACKGROUND OPACITY – This suboption changes the
transparency of your digital closed caption.
h. WINDOW COLOR – This suboption changes the color of
the text window.
i. WINDOW OPACITY – This suboption changes the
transparency of the text window.
Please Note:
• Closed captioning is only available under AV, S-Video, and TV
ports.
• Closed captioning depends on your TV program’s support.
Sometimes due to the TV channel or the signal, closed captioning
will not be available.
• In United States, closed captioning under analog signals is CC1.
• In United States, closed captioning under digital signal is Service1.
• TEXT1-TEXT4 offers you local information; however it might
not be support by your local broadcasting station. When no
information is offered, you will see a large black box in the
middle of the screen.
