Setting Up Your Phone
1. Install the battery (if necessary).
Ⅲ Press the release button and remove the battery
cover from the back of the phone.
Ⅲ Insert the battery into the opening, making sure the
connectors align. Gently press down to secure the
battery.
Ⅲ Replace the battery cover and press down until you
hear a click.
2. Press to turn the phone on.
Ⅲ Your phone will turn on, search for Sprint service,
and enter standby mode.

following page for more information.
3. Make your first call.
Ⅲ Use your keypad to enter a phone number.
Ⅲ Press .
Note: Your phone’s battery should have enough charge to turn on, find a
signal, set up your voicemail, and make a call. You should fully charge your
battery as soon as possible. See “Charging the Battery”on page 21 for details.
