virtually any USB printer including those with USB 1.1, USB 2.0

Full Speed, and USB 2.0 Hi-Speed connections. On the parallel

port models, IEEE1284 parallel port is compatible with virtually

any parallel printer port mode, including High Speed ECP with bi-

directional communication.

The SX-200 and SX-215 include a printer mounting kit and a

desktop mounting kit. The USB models also include a USB cable.

High Performance

With the innovative SX-200 and SX-215 print servers, you can take

advantage of your printer's maximum speeds. These products

increase user productivity by shortening print waiting times, and

the high performance architecture also reduces network

congestion because the print jobs move out of the printer queue

and off the network quicker.

Wireless Flexibility

Both the SX-200 and SX-215 are available in models with 802.11

(Wi-Fi) wireless connectivity. This gives you the advantage of

flexible printer deployment for situations in which running cables is

impractical or too expensive, or where the printer must be

frequently moved. The SX-200 features a dual band tri-mode

802.11a/b/g radio, while the SX-215 supports 802.11b/g.

Secure

A major advantage of the SX-200 and SX-215 print servers is

enterprise class security. The wired models supports the most robust

802.1x Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) with TLS, TTLS, and

PEAP support, while the wireless models add WPA and WPA2

encryption security with 802.1x and TLS, TTLS, PEAP, LEAP, EAP-

FAST authentication. All models also support access control lists,

complete protocol and application enable/disable control, read and

write configuration passwords, and SNMP community name

configuration. These capabilities allow the SX-200 and SX-215 to be

used on virtually any enterprise class network.

Easy to Use

The SX-200 and SX-215 are easy to use with many different

options for configuration and management. The included

ExtendView Windows utility includes wizards for setup,

configuration and management of multiple Silex print servers at the

same time. The SX-200 built in web browser interface allows

monitoring and configuration from any computer with a standard

web browser, and Update IP utility lets you download firmware

updates into multiple print servers simultaneously.

Versatile

The SX-200 and SX-215 allow you to print from multiple computer

and network operating systems concurrently, including Windows,

UNIX, Linux, Solaris, Netware, Mac OS, OS/2, DEC LAT, and
more. On the USB models, the USB 2.0 Hi-Speed port connects
