Connectivity

To connect two devices

Turn on infrared in both devices.

Make sure the infrared port on your phone
is facing the infrared port on the other device
with a maximum distance of 7.87 in., as shown
in the illustration.

To transfer items using infrared

USB Cable

Using the USB cable, you can send and receive
items and synchronize your phone. Connect the
USB cable to your phone and the computer, then
choose between

File Transfer

and

Phone Mode

from

the pop-up that appears in the phone. To
synchronize

• Select

File Transfer

to browse items in the phone

memory. The phone will turn off in this mode.

• Select

Phone Mode

to synchronize information

with other devices or use the phone as a modem.
The phone will remain on in this mode.

To start a USB connection

Turn on your phone.

Connect the USB cable to your phone
and computer.

Select

File Transfer

or

Phone Mode

in the phone.

Do not remove the USB cable from the phone
or computer during file transfer as this may corrupt
the phone memory.
