Listening to audio data stored on a “GIGA JUKE” Music Server or a
computer (Home Network function)

Problem

Causes/measures

You cannot connect the unit to

a network.

“Cannot connect to the server.”

appears.

“A communication error

occurred.” appears.

“A communication error

occurred. Information
retrieval cancelled.” appears.

“GIGA JUKE Wireless Player”

appears and the unit does not
go on.

 Make sure that the wireless station/the wireless LAN access point is

turned on.

 Make sure that your “GIGA JUKE” Music Server and computer are

turned on.

 The network settings on the unit may be incorrect. Press SETTINGS

and select [Device information] – [Network information] to check
the settings.

 The “GIGA JUKE” Music Server or computer may be unstable.

Restart it.

 Confirm that the “GIGA JUKE” Music Server and the computer are

connected to the wireless station/the wireless LAN access point
correctly.

 Check the following conditions to confirm that the “GIGA JUKE”

Music Server and the computer are properly prepared:

The server has started.

The server function is set to [Start].

This unit has been registered.

 Place the unit and the wireless station/the wireless LAN access point

close to each other.

 If the ICF (Internet Connection Firewall) function is active on the

computer, this may prevent the unit from connecting to the
computer. You may need to change the firewall settings to allow the
unit to connect. (For details on changing the firewall settings, refer
to the operating manual of your computer).

 If you format the system of the “GIGA JUKE” Music Server or

performed a system recovery on your computer, perform the
network settings again (pages 18 and 19).

The “GIGA JUKE” Music Server
or computer does not appear in
the server selection display.

 You may have turned on this unit before you turned on the “GIGA

JUKE” Music Server or the computer. Select [Update info] in the
server selection display to update the server list (page 23).

 Make sure that the wireless station/the wireless LAN access point is

turned on.

 Make sure that your “GIGA JUKE” Music Server and computer are

turned on.

 Check the following conditions to confirm that the “GIGA JUKE”

Music Server and the computer are properly prepared:

The server has started.

The server function is set to [Start].

This unit has been registered.

You cannot play audio data
normally.

 Repeat play or shuffle play is selected. Press SETTINGS to set [Play

mode] to [Continue] (page 28).
