Switching the microphone off (Mute)
You can temporarily switch your phone’s
microphone off so that the other person cannot
hear you.
Example: You may wish to say something to
another person in the room but do not
want the calling person to hear you.
1. Press the Options soft key.
2. When Mute highlights, press the Select soft
key.
The mute icon ( ) appears on the bottom line
of the display and your correspondent cannot
hear you.
To switch the microphone back on:
1. Press the Options soft key.
2. When Unmute highlights, press the Select soft
key.
The mute icon disappears and your
correspondent can hear you.
Searching for a number in Phonebook
You can search for a number in your Phonebook
during a call.
1. Press the Options soft key.
2. If necessary, press the Up or Down key to
highlight the Phonebook option. Press the
Select soft key.
