Reading a Message

Your phone supports two GSM message features:
SMS Messages
If someone sends you a message, your phone rings or vibrates and
displays Read Now?. Press
O
to open the message now or
C
to
close it.

Your phone stores these messages and displays the
o
.
A
Your SMS Messages share the same SIM Card memory as your SMS
Chat History.
Broadcast Messages
If your service provider broadcasts a message, it scrolls across your
display. Press
E
to pause it, or press
C
to delete it.
A
Your phone does not store these messages.
To view a stored SMS message that you received:
1 Press
$
in idle.
2 Select Messages
O
.
3 Select received Message.
A
Your phone displays the number of messages, then the list of
messages from newest to oldest.
4 To view a message you created, select Outbox.
