Select “Setup” in the Menu Bar, and
press ENTER.

Select “GUIDE Plus+ system
Information” using

M/m, and press

ENTER.

Note

The GUIDE Plus+ system is reset when you make
changes to the host channel settings.

Check whether programme position
numbers are the same as the programme
position numbers set in the “Analog Tuner”
setup.
If you want to make adjustments to the
channel settings or change the channel
name, see “Aerial Reception Settings
(Analog Tuner)” (page 127).

Press M to move the cursor to the
Menu Bar.

Select “Editor” using </,.

Press ENTER.

Press , to move the cursor to the
right column.

Select the programme position you
want to check using
M/m.

To change the input source, press the red
button (“Source”).
To change the programme position,
press the green button (“Prog. No.”),
then enter a programme position number
using the number buttons, and press
ENTER.

Hint

To receive from the recorder a programme
position that can be received by either the set top
box receiver or the recorder, change the input
source in step 6.

If any programme positions are unused or
contain unwanted channels, you can hide
them.

After step 4 of “Checking programme
positions (Editor),”
in the left
column, select the programme
position you want to hide or display
using
M/m.

Press the red button (“On/Off”).

The disabled positions will turn grey.
To show the disabled positions, press
the red button (“On/Off”) again.

Notes

• You cannot record a programme position if it is

not set in “Aerial Reception Settings (Analog
Tuner)” (page 127)
even if it is set to “On” in the
“Editor” in the Menu Bar.

• If you are using your set top box receiver to

receive programmes (when the set top box
receiver is connected to the recorder using a
SCART cord only, page 20) and are able to
receive the same programme with both the set
top box receiver and the recorder, change the
“Source” to receive the programme with the
recorder’s tuner.
