full-time Symmetrical AWD and 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) provide

a cocoon of passive safety features, which includes a Ring-Shaped Reinforcement Frame body structure, front and rear
crumple zones, side-impact air bags, and more, work together to help insure all occupants are as safe and sound as possible.
