Using Menu Functions
Navigating through TV Home Menu (XMB™)
The TV Home Menu/XMB™ (XrossMediaBar) provides quick access to programme listings, input
sources, the settings menu of your TV and more.
1 Press HOME to display the XMB™.
2 Press G/g to select a category.
3 Press F/f to select an item, then press .
4 Follow the instructions on the screen.
5 Press HOME to exit.

• The options you can adjust vary depending on the situation.
• Unavailable options are greyed out or not displayed.
• “Photo”, “Music” and “Video” are not supported with the USB connector on the front of PlayStation

Media category icon Description
Settings Contains all of the necessary configurations to customise your TV
settings. (page 47).
Photo You can enjoy photo content via USB devices or the network,
including Internet content services. (page 24, 30).
Music You can enjoy music content via USB devices or the network,
including Internet content services. (page 24, 30).
Video You can enjoy video content via USB devices or the network,
including Internet content services. (page 24, 30).
Digital You can select digital channel, and the Digital Electronic Programme
Guide (EPG) (page 19).
Analogue You can select analogue channel.
External Inputs You can select equipment connected to the TV.
Network You can enjoy “Internet Video” (page 29).
