4 Use 1 234 to select a track or use

numeric keypad (0-9) to input the
selected track number next to {SELECT}.

5 Press S / T to open the previous or

next page.

6 Press ENTER/OK to confirm.

To quit preview function
• Use 1 234 to highlight {EXIT} and

press ENTER/OK to confirm.

To return to preview menu
• Use 1 234 to highlight {MENU} and

press ENTER/OK to confirm.

For CD
• At stop mode, press SCAN on the

remote control.

➜ Each track will be played for a few

seconds.

The DVD-Audio is developed for the sole
purpose of creating high quality pure
sound with Linear PCM and Packed PCM
(Lossless coding) in up to six audio-
channels. The sampling frequency of
192 kHz/24 bits are supported.
Moreover, many DVD-Audio discs offer
slide show and page turn capabilities.
• When you play a down mix prohibited

disc, NO DOWN MIX lights on the
front panel display, and DOWN MIX
indicator turns off.

Changing pages

Some DVD-Audio discs contain
information pages that can include photo
galleries, artist biographies, lyrics, etc.
Every time you press the PAGE button on
the remote control, the page is turned to
the next.

Playing bonus groups

Some discs contain bonus groups that
require a four-digit password to gain
access. In this case, consult the disc jacket
and other packaging for information.

1 While playback is stopped, press ON

SCREEN twice.

➜ The group and track list is displayed on

the TV screen.

2 Press 34 to select a bonus group, then

press ENTER/OK.

3 Enter a four-digit password using the

numeric keypad (0-9), then press
ENTER/OK.

4 Press 34 to select a track, then press

ENTER/OK.

DVD-Video Mode

Some DVD-Audio discs include DVD-
Video contents that can be played on
conventional DVD-Video players (see
page 21 “Selecting DVD-Audio/Video
mode”).
