Alerts
Your phone can alert you with an audible tone when you change service areas,
once a minute during a voice call, when a call has been connected, and when
turning your phone on and off.
The different actions available are:
•
Minute Beep: An alert tone is sounded every minute that you are
connected.
•
Service: An alert tone is sounded when you come in or out of your coverage
area.
•
Connect: An alert tone is sounded when you are initially connected.
•
Sig. Fade Tone: An alert tone is sounded when your phone partially loses
signal due to network conditions or leaving network coverage area.
•
Roam: An alert tone is sounded when your phone enters a roaming area.
•
Power On: An alert tone is sounded when you turn your phone on.
•
Power Off: An alert tone is sounded when you turn your phone off.
To enable or disable alert sounds:
1.
Press ,
highlight
the
Settings menu, and press

2.
Select Sounds.
3.
Select Alerts.
4.
Select one of the following options:
•
Minute Beep
•
Service
•
Connect
•
Sig. Fade Tone
•
Roam
5.
Select On or Off using the navigation key and press
to save and
exit.
To set alert sounds when turning your phone on and off:
