Limiting the charge amount
[Battery Care]
In the [Battery Care] mode, the player stops recharging when the battery is
charged to 90%. You can use this mode to reduce deterioration caused by
charge and discharge, i.e., extend the battery lifespan.
From the Home menu, select [Settings]
[Common Settings]
[Battery Care]

Uses the [Battery Care] mode.
[Off]
Uses the normal recharge mode. (Default setting)
Note
When [Battery Care] is set to [On], the maximum recharge capacity is limited to 90%.
As a result, the battery life between charges is shortened about 10%.
Returning to the factory settings
[Reset All Settings]
You can reset the player to the default settings. Resetting the player will not
delete data such as music, video, and photo data.
Note
If you select this function during playback, the player pauses playback before performing
the reset process.
The default setting of [Equalizer] for players sold in the Latin America region is different
from the factory setting.
From the Home menu, select [Settings]
[Common Settings]
[Reset/Format]
[Reset All Settings]
[Yes].
[Restored factory settings.] appears.
To cancel the operation, select [No] on the confirmation screen.
